I want to say that this ship existing - from the meta perspective - is one of the most fascinating parts of Destiny 2.
Grab any random person that sits in online shipping spaces for like any game or tv series and try explaining to them that in Destiny there is a canon - extremely canon as I said - GAY relationship between an older middle eastern man and a respectably depicted slavic man AND it's so extremely important to many parts of the story AND the game is dubbed in a lot of countries "that would not allow is according to big game companies". Because they would not fucking believe that. It goes against anything happening with queerness in AAA games.
But back to the ship itself - I love both of them for very separate reasons. I think that anything that could have been said about them was already said but better. I have that one official art of them hugging on Neomuna set as a custom banner for Destiny on Steam. I love that they are messy! Destiny is my telenovela. Echoes was crazy (wow I didn't expect a metaphor of people changing in relationships but here we are). I hope that we'll see them again in some time. Also I still think that Saint being good enough friends with Mark and Devrim to vent to them about Osiris is crazy. Yeah, not many brutal opinions. I joined in SotSplicer and I love the mess I've walked into.

Some love for the Polish dub
Shout of to the Polish voice actors. Bungie kinda sucks for not listing them in end credits but they are carruing this game for me. Like. I'm sorry Zavala's VA does his job so well he should be paid the same wage as his US counterpart.

On 18th of August 2015 I made a huge excel table compiling some numbers from AO3.
This is the method used. To collect this data I clicked on the Destiny fandom tag and the checked all the canon ships for each of the characters individually.
